The Klexy Soft Yacht Race Program is a simple, intuitive, and very fast responding program for scoring and saving the results to a text file, a PDF file or an HTML file...or all three. To prepare for a race there is a also a Klexy Soft Rating Check Program that downloads the latest PHRF Fleet List for all boats with a current certificate in the areas from Santa Barbara to San Diego. The Rating Check Program then downloads the Entrants and their registered handicap rating. The two ratings are compared. Any discrepancies are displayed. In addition the classes selected by the Entrants are shown. This leads to an opportunity for the race chairman to select the class splits. A panel opens that will allow the race chairman to change the class splits. Read page 2 of the instructions for more details. Finally the program provides the function of saving the complete list of all entrants their ratings and class designations to a file, which is used for scoring the race.
